OBDII port is the one that fetches all the real time data of your car from the ECU (Engine Control Unit) and reflects the data in the KarConnect Mobile Application using which you can remotely monitor the real time driving behaviour and the health of your car. KarConnect has started a campaign To Spread the awareness providing the information about where to locate OBDII port in your car.
Team KarConnect has visited the stall of Maruti at The Big Show Rajkot Exhibition. We got the opportunity to locate the OBDII port in different variants of Maruti. The representatives of Maruti were really kind and cooperative and guided us well for the same.
OBDII port in Ignis
Sharing its engine specification with the Baleno/ Swift/ Dzire, it gets a 1.2 litre petrol and a 1.3 litre diesel engine. Surprisingly, both the engine options are available with a 5-speed AMT, apart from the standard 5-speed manual.
The 16 pin port, OBDII can be found below the steering wheel, under the dashboard and above the brake pedals.

OBDII port in S-Cross
Maruti Suzuki S-Cross comes in 5 variants with 2 engine and 1 transmission and 1 fuel options. The OBDII port in Maruti Suzuki S-Cross is under the steering wheel on the left, near the engine hood release.

OBDII port in Baleno RS
The Baleno RS is the first Maruti product in India to receive Suzuki’s new global 1.0 litre Booster Jet engine. Maruti is also expected to use this Booster Jet engine in other models in the line-up. OBDII of Maruti Baleno RS can be found above the brake pedals, below the steering wheel and under the dashboard.
